My Weight Loss Journey

Although I still mourn the death of my marriage since the separation I have seen healthy changes in my self. I no longer need to self medicate or fill voids with food. That combined with breastfeeding has brought on significant weight loss for me. Pre-pregnancy I had reached an all time high of size 20, now I am down to about a 14-16. My goal size would be a 10 but I would be happy with a size 12.

New Address

Yes I have a new blog address yet again. My husband has been stalking me online. He reads every single comment here and than attacks me about it. I can't understand why if he has moved on he needs to stalk me.

1. No more arguing about or being told what is "right" for the kids.
2. I may have another chance at having another child something that would not have happened in my now defunct marriage.
3. Lot's of one on one time with the boys.
4. Feeling happier about myself.
5. A chance in the distant future for a partner who will treat me with the dignity and respect I deserve.

Reconnecting

For some readers this will already be old news but I thought I would share anyways. Last night I went for dinner with my Father. No serious conversations but it wasn't awful either. Other than my Mom's funeral it is the first time we have seen each other in several years. He is clean and sober now. I'm happy my kids will be able to get to know him.

Our Little Tree

Setting up the big tree and keeping it decorated was such a nightmare last year that I thought for now we would opt for something smaller. Here's a tree I got from the Edmonton earthcycle group, topped off with a star from the dollar store.
